Material and Structure
Main Materials: Modern high-quality shower hoses commonly use 304 stainless steel for the outer braided layer, providing excellent pressure resistance, explosion-proof performance, and corrosion resistance. The inner layer is often made of PUC (polyurethane) or high-density brass alloy, ensuring smooth water flow, a smooth inner wall, and resistance to scale buildup.
Some high-end products use a brass alloy body, offering both a sense of weight and durability.
Composite Structure: A common design is a composite structure of "stainless steel braided mesh + PUC inner tube." The outer layer enhances safety like a "bulletproof vest," while the inner layer ensures pure water quality and efficient water flow.
Key Functional Designs
Anti-Twist Design: This is central to a better shower experience. Through a 360° freely rotating spherical connector, the hose can move freely with the body and showerhead, completely avoiding traditional hose tangling and twisting, making showering more comfortable and relaxed.
Some products also include additional anti-twist protection at the ends.
Length and Connections: Standard lengths are usually 1.5 to 1.6 meters to accommodate different bathroom layouts and provide ample movement space.
Connections generally use the standard G1/2 (quarter-inch) thread, compatible with most showerheads and diverters on the market, making installation convenient.
